5th Anniversary

Justin and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary last night and let me just say.... Justin pulled out ALL THE STOPS. As amazing as he usually is, I could have never in a million years expected such an incredible surprise.

First... he pretended like we were just going out to eat at a restaurant. (Since we are dirt poor I honestly was expecting to go to a fast food restaurant.) When he pulled into a neighborhood I started getting a little confused but he said he just took a wrong turn and was cutting through the neighborhood to get to the next main road. I didn't think anything of it because I was too distracted looking and pointing at all of the super cute houses in the downtown Mesa Historic District.

Suddenly we stopped in front of a house and I immediately recognized it as Justin's kindergarden teacher Frankie's house. Not only is Frankie's house the cutest in the whole world but Frankie herself is the cutest women in the whole world. Anyway, we came inside and she had such an incredible table display set up for us. She put so much time into every tiny detail including the heart shaped napkins, fancy crystal and tableware, candles, roses (which were from Justin and his parents), and romantic music playing in the background. It literally took my breathe away and made me tear up...

As amazing as the display was, it was nothing compared to the four coarse meal that Frankie prepared for us with all of my favorite foods. For an appetizer she served the most delicious bruschetta, then a yummy caesar salad, followed by the best lasagna I've ever tasted, and lastly a cheesecake with fresh strawberries that was to die for.

After dinner Justin took me to the exact spot where he proposed to me 6 years ago and we reminisced about all the good times. The whole night seemed like a dream. I'm not sure what I did to deserve such an amazing husband but I  couldn't be more grateful for all that he does for me. I love you Justin and I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with you :)

A Day in the Life

If Oliver had it his way he would spend every waking hour of every day either playing baseball or riding his bike. He is definitely a two year-old boy.

Reunited

Before Oliver was born I used to be a nanny for an adorable baby named Stella. I loved my job so much and I was really sad when it came time for me to leave. When they moved across state I was even more sad because I thought I wouldn't ever see her again. I was really excited when her mom told me they were back in town visiting and I got a chance to see her again.

The last time I saw Stella she was still in diapers and wasn't talking or walking yet. It was so surreal to see her all grown up, potty trained, running around, and saying the most hilarious things.

She made up a game called "Macaroni Cheese Mouth" where you crawl around and pretend to eat macaroni off the furniture. It's my new favorite game.

It was so awesome to see Oliver and Stella playing together. They had a blast!

They loved playing with the pretend food. It makes sense because Stella's mom is an amazing chef. It was one of the many bonuses of being their nanny!

Justin had fun too playing with legos :)
